WIGAN WARRIORS

AIM
To create awareness of Grand Arcade and its work with the local community through a joint initiative with the Wigan Warriors, the town's local rugby league team.

SOLUTION
The centre and club work together on an ongoing basis to create unique events, roadshows, competitions, promotions and player appearances for all the family to enjoy, promoting the centre in a positive way to appeal to a wider group of customers locally.

RESULT
The ongoing events and competitions generate positive PR for the centre and the club, hundreds of customers have attended previous roadshows to meet their favourite players, increasing footfall and dwell time for the centre.

The overall result is the positive perception of the centre being at the heart of the Wigan community and very supportive of local sports, schools and activities.
